     This handsome six-footer goes by different sobriquets — ‘Taa,” “Big Foot,” John-D. Also the “Sleeping Beauty” of 440, he often has a dreamy look about him, especially when suddenly roused from his sleep by his teacher’s voice calling on him to recite. His tall frame is probably the cause of his lethargic, lackadaisical movements. Even the way he smiles is slow and faint; we believe this guy needs to be injected with a large does of pep and vigor. But surprisingly, John-D is an efficient treasurer of the class and a dependable and trust-worthy friend.
